a preface...

i've holed up in a former east german apartment for the next 3 weeks. it's quite amazing here. the only photos i've taken so far are from the trip to and from the grocery store this afternoon. it's my first full day here and i'm still jet lagged as hell. there's graffiti everywhere. good graffiti too. not the portland bullshit type.
