falling a bit behind with the blogging, so many photos to choose from. i've found myself so busy with all of the art looking and book reading and coffee/beer drinking. there is so much to see in Berlin, there are over 120 museums!!! of course the one i really want to go to is closed until october :(

today we went to the bode-museum. the place is massive and the history is pretty interesting. it was pretty much destroyed, like a lot of berlin, during the war but has been fully restored. the museum houses an amazing sculpture collection, old master paintings and byzantine art, along with a lot of classical and baroque german art of which i know very little about. truly amazing stuff.
